Launch list privacy notice
Last updated: 21 October 2026
If you join the Equus Metric launch list on this website, this page explains what we do with your email address. It covers the launch list only. The app has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
Equus Metric, run by David Greenaway. You can contact us at support@equusmetric.com.
What we collect
- The email address you type into the form.
- Which page you signed up from (for example the calculator), and the date and time.
- Technical details our website host records with every form submission, such as your IP address and browser type, which it uses to block spam.
We don't ask for your name, and we don't use tracking cookies for the launch list.
Why we collect it
To send you one email when the Equus Metric app launches. We do this because you agreed to it by ticking the box on the form. We won't use your address for anything else, and we won't sell it or share it for advertising.
Who sees it
- Us.
- Our website host, Netlify, which stores form submissions on our behalf. It may process data outside the UK, including in the United States.
- If we use an email service to send the launch email, that service, and only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
We delete your address 12 months after you sign up, or sooner if you ask us to. If we've sent the launch email and you haven't asked to stay in touch, we'll delete it then.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time, and ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email support@equusmetric.com and we'll act on it. If you're in the UK and you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use the launch list, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
