Not veterinary advice
Equus Metric provides general estimates and guidance based on published equine nutrition and conditioning references. It is a well-informed starting point, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for hands-on veterinary or professional nutritionist care -- especially for young, pregnant, lactating, or metabolically compromised horses. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your horse's actual health and treatment decisions.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the horse data you enter -- the guidance the app gives you is only as good as the measurements and history you put in.
Free trial and subscription
Equus Metric is a subscription app. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial; after that it's £9.99 per month, billed through the Apple App Store at the price shown at checkout. The trial and the subscription renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, managed entirely through your Apple ID settings -- not through us. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You need an active trial or subscription to use the app's features; your data is kept, so if you subscribe again you pick up where you left off. The price and trial may change as the app develops, and we'll never charge you without Apple's own confirmation.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to store or share content unrelated to horse care, attempt to access another user's account or data, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is." Weight estimates, ration amounts, and conditioning schedules are estimates with a stated margin of error, not guarantees -- decisions about your horse's health and training remain yours and your veterinarian's.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
